ELLIPSE MAGAZINE
Ellipse Magazine is student run publication between senior photographers and designers. Students pitched projects and stories that are relevant to our generations aspirations and interests.
I was selected as an Assistant Art Director and tasked with creating the cover for the magazine.
ELLIPSE COVER
Shannon O’Grady and I were selected to create the cover of the magazine. We decided to take assets from other students work to create a piece of work that unified design and photography. We both edited each others files to create a cover that reinforced the idea of collaboration.
Our intention was to design a cover that represented human nature without assigning an obvious face to the cover.
EAGLE REBIRTH
“Rise to the peak,
A painful process of change,
The past is set free,
A new journey begins.”
When an eagle reaches the age of 30, it must make the decision to fly to a mountain top and remove all of it's feathers and break it's beak and talons. This process lasts about 3 months and it's entirely made up.
